how we make it happen...

I approach each session with intentionality, a calm demeanor, and lots and lots of prep. while I provide a unique experience to photographers, it actually doesn’t hinge on me. I come as myself, as I do with each and every client. the key to the photos turning out the way you’re hoping they will depends on your trust and participation. when you trust me, we make something magic. I will offer calm and gentle guidance and we will have an incredible time documenting your unique self.

your on-locaton photo session in the bismarck/mandan area (up to 30 minutes of travel from my home office at 58501). number of locations will depend on which session is booked. Studio option also available for an additional fee.

Most importantly, the photography.
Each session is entirely its own. your gallery will be completely unique to you and the vision we discussed before your session.

Don’t stress! North Dakota weather can be unpredictable, so if rain is in the forecast, we’ll either reschedule or move to a covered or indoor location. I’ll stay in touch leading up to your session so we can make the best call together and keep everything relaxed and easy.
you can typically plan for 1–3 outfit changes depending on session length and location.

please NOTE — I reserve weekends for time with my family so I will typically schedule sessions Monday-Thursday. This is beneficial for any location that is crowded. exceptions will always be made for travel. For any special circumstances, please reach out, and we can try to find a solution that works for both of us!

your session is not booked until you have signed your contract and paid your nonrefundable retainer fee. You will receive a proposal with your invoice and contract within 24 hours of choosing your date.
